Calm a Colic Baby

For those of you, who have children I am sure, that you had that moment when, you didn't know what to do to calm your crying baby.

Infant colic affects around 20 percent of all babies.

There are several ways to calm a colic baby.

1. Apply a warm wash cloth to baby's stomach after feeding, this will also create heat and help with the digest movement. however, you will have to reheat the towel often to prevent it from cooling down. also be cautious not to overheat the wash cloth and burn the skin.

2. Gently rubbing baby's stomach with your hand after feeding. the rubbing motion helps the digest movement and create heat.

3. this method will help the baby who are being breastfeeding. slice about a cup of ginger, cook in medium heat with two cups of water, let it reduce to about a cup of water, add brown sugars to taste. the breastfeeding mother will have to drink this hot ginger tea once or twice daily. (this method is also a great remedy for treating the menstrual cramp)

4. Give your baby Gripe Water. I used for years Colic Calm which is an FDA regulated all natural gripe water. You can learn more about it by visiting Colic Calm.
